Legal & Compliance

Legal Agreements and Policies

Find the relevant published policy and review your specific quotation, provider terms and executed contract before purchasing or activating a service.

Find the Terms for Your Product or Service

Review Before Accepting

The contracting Afrisol entity, customer organisation, product, scope and document versions must be identified in your order or signed agreement. An external supplier is not automatically your contracting seller. Ask for clarification where documents conflict; this directory does not silently replace an existing contract.

  • Price and term: Review currency, taxes, quantity, setup and migration, recurring charges, renewal price, commitment and invoice frequency. Monthly invoices do not by themselves create a monthly cancellation right.
  • Software rights: Distinguish subscription access from perpetual-version rights. Maintenance, new versions, support, hosting and AI usage are separate components unless expressly included. Existing rights and annual-only commitments remain governed by the accepted terms.
  • Capacity and delivery: Confirm resources, location, included usage, overage policy, management, support, service levels and fulfilment dependencies. A budget alert alone is not an enforced spending cap.
  • Customer authority: Organisation membership, an account login or a Hub visit does not authorise purchases, payments, tax submissions, provider changes or access to another customer's records.
  • Domain operations: Registration, registrar nameservers and hosted DNS records are distinct services. Confirm the DNS host, affected records and DNSSEC arrangements before accepting changes; preserve email and other existing services.
  • Tax and geography: Taxpayer jurisdiction, hosting location, currency and website country selection are distinct. Country-specific fiscal services require verified local scope. Customers may retain another compliant provider; an integration choice does not remove base software rights.
  • AI assistance: Review the provider, data permitted for processing, usage limits and human-review requirements. Guidance alone grants no authority to execute financial, fiscal, eligibility or other consequential decisions.
  • Cancellation and exit: Review notice, renewal, non-refundable supplier commitments, refunds, export format, migration assistance, access withdrawal and retention. Account closure, service cancellation and personal-data deletion are separate processes.

Review and correct the order before confirming. Keep the accepted quotation and agreement versions with your order records in My Afrisol. A service-management link does not establish that every provider operation is activated.

Hubs, Partners and Marketplace Services

Startup, Investors, Nonprofits, Education, Government & Public Sector and Developers Hubs provide different participation pathways. Any confidentiality, programme, investment, procurement, intellectual-property or delivery agreement must identify its parties and accepted scope. A Hub profile is not funding, investment advice, programme approval, a government mandate or permission to share private records.

Partner, reseller and marketplace orders must identify the seller, licensed product, customer, support owner and applicable channel terms. Listing or account verification alone does not establish marketplace approval, provisioning or entitlement. Related organisations and programme operators retain their own agreements and responsibilities.

Data Policy

Information handling, responsibility and access requirements

Your accepted quotation, signed agreement, product-specific terms and applicable law determine the obligations for a service. Where an external supplier or domain registry imposes additional terms, those terms must be specifically disclosed and agreed as appropriate. This index does not amend any existing executed contract or establish a new supplier relationship.

If a policy or a provider-specific document is unclear, request clarification through Afrisol's contact channel before accepting a quotation or purchasing.
